Jonesin’ Djembes!

Jonesin’ Djembes is a Drum Jam Session, not unlike a drum circle, but it’s a chance for the drum students to play the rhythms they now know in a supportive setting.
We’ll review the 3 or 4 rhythms we have learned in the previous weeks, then just cut loose and drum! Friends are welcome to join in. You don’t have to have been a part of the classes to participate, but the students will create and hold rhythms that you can play along with.
I’ll provide extra percussion items to foster full participation. Drums, Shakers, Scrapers, Claves, Bells, Hoola Hoops… all are welcome!
There’s no fee for this event, but we will have a love donation box out for those who would like to contribute to Glow Healing Arts for giving us this wonderful space to gather.
We’ll end the day with a pot luck, so bring a dish to share and we can all break bread together.
